Travels continue until dark when camp is set up along the river bank. To add to the excitement of it all, there are no designated campsites and so spots are chosen spontaneously. Dinner is had around the campfire under the clear star-filled skies of Botswana before you catch some shut-eye in anticipation of a dawn wake-up call.

The Selinda Caneo Trail operates during the annual flooding of the Selinda Spillway from mid April to early October, depending on water levels.
