We were fortunate enough to share a ride across the Cambodian/Laos border with this character. As best I understand it, he accidentally floated too far down the river and had to return to Laos to pick up his passport. During the ride he shared tales of his misadventures and annoyed the hell out of us. This man truly is one of “the crazies out there” that your parents always warned you about. He is also a prime example of the interesting, the random, and the ‘what the fuck’ moments which happen when you step off the curb for a stroll.
